Goat Yoga
Goat Milk Gelato
Nope! Some participants would rather sit on their mat and play with goats. And that's okay! We do ask that anyone not doing yoga remain on their mat until the class is over.
We have a dedicated outdoor yoga "studio" in our pasture. It can comfortably hold 25 participants. It is not a covered space, so our goat yoga sessions are weather permitting.
We suggest dressing comfortably and for the weather. Yoga at Sunset may get cool in the spring or early summer, so if you are participating in one of these sessions you may wish to bring an extra layer. Our goats are farm animals who live outside so we suggest wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty. And remember, even baby goats have hooves, so a tank top may not be the best idea.
We encourage you to bring a yoga mat or towel if you have one. If you don't, no worries! You can use one of ours at no extra cost.
It can happen! Goat pellets are easily whisked away. A staff member will attend to you and your mat if a goat has an "accident," and we have hand sanitizer available for your use after class.
Baby goats LOVE to nibble and chew on everything. It's their way of trying to see if something is yummy. They may nibble hair, clothes, zippers, shoestrings, or anything they can grab. Our goats are not mean and will not intentionally bite you.
Sometimes the goats will play and headbutt each other, and will occasionally playfully butt humans. Our goat herd is horned, so our baby goats also have kid-sized horns. Our kid goats are very sweet, but they are playful and can get rambunctious. It is always wise to be aware where their heads are.
Children ages 5 through 11 are welcome to participate in classes when indicated. All regular classes are for ages 12 and older.
Currently we have a clean portable restroom available for our guests.
If we cancel a class for weather or unforeseen circumstances, refunds will be issued. Refunds are not issued if participants cancel or do not show up for their reserved class.
We do not offer transfers to another class if a participant cancels or does not show up for their scheduled class.
Yes! If you'd like to schedule a private goat yoga session for a family reunion, a birthday party, bridesmaids party, a corporate team building, or any other reason, please contact us at windriverfarmks@gmail.com for more information.
